Compared with LMD-PSAT single medium sootblower, this LMD-PSAL sootblower is also used in air preheater ash blowing, just that LMD-PSAL sootblower is equipped with double blowing medium, one is steam, another one is high-pressure water. its blowing capability is stronger than multi-nozzle sootblowers, and can conquer the difficulties of uneven purge blowing due to the rotary movement of air preheater. Double medium can fulfil customers request, they can use both medium which can make better effect of ash cleaning.

We called this type of sootblower as air preheater sootblower, as it used in air preheater only, here is the diagram of how sootblower works in the air preheater area:
