The Atlas Copco Oil-free scroll air compressors SF2, SF4+, and SF6+ FF/TM range is an all-in-one solution that combines the compression element, drive motor, aftercooler, and starter within an ultra-quiet acoustic enclosure, making it ideal for installation directly at the point of use. A Full Feature version is also available, which includes an integrated refrigerant dryer. Users can choose from three receiver mounting configurations: an extended canopy housing three built-in 10-liter galvanized receivers, or installation on a 270-liter (72-gallon) or 500-liter (132-gallon) horizontally mounted, internally coated air receiver.

Atlas Copco Oil-free Air Compressors：ADVANCED SCROLL TECHNOLOGY

Air compression occurs through the interaction between a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll. Air enters the compression chamber from the outer edge of the scroll element at inlet pressure. Once inside, the orbiting scroll closes off the inlet. As it continues its orbiting motion, the trapped air is gradually compressed into smaller and smaller pockets. The compressed air is then discharged through a central port located in the fixed scroll. This cycle repeats continuously, providing a steady, pulse-free stream of compressed air.
