This type long retractable sootblower reducer is the reducer of PSSL long retractable sootblower, it contains of gearbox and carriage.This is the key parts of sootblower, as this is the drive unit of sootblower system. it usually have left -hand type and right-hand type. For big boiler, they usually Symmetrical installed. It depend on site requirement.

The ash blower reducer usually consists of a gearbox, carriage and motor. The walking roller is fixed on the walking box. The double-shaft gear box is driven by a three-phase motor, the drive gear on one end of the shaft is engaged with the rack on the girder to achieve the axial movement of the walking box. Another shaft(longitudinal) allows the ash pipe to rotate through chain drive. The ash tube packing box has two functions:
